Vantage dash screen
Discussion
On a car I've my eye on I've noticed the entertainment display screen (where radio text comes up) is lightly scratched or hazed. I guess like someone has cleaned it with a gritty cloth at some point. Anyone experienced that or fixed?
Also on same subject - do earliest cars have green text here and ~2007 onwards have white?
Cheers.

The screen on my 2008 V8VR is also a bit hazy.
I suspect it is not sealed on therefore dust gets in behind it.
You can replace the screen as the part is available here, not sure how it is removed and fitted though

Hi, Did you manage to find out how to clean the screen?
see earler thread on this: How to remove mark from instrument binnacleI scratched the instrument binnacle onmy DB9 GT
Both Plast-RX and Polywatch worked on my Mondeo Binnacle so I tried them on the DB9 GT and again they worked fine.

Polywatch has worked pretty well on the annoyingly shiny and scratchable piano black trim forward of the armrest. Needs a bit more work to get it back as good as it should be, but a quick go last weekend helped buff out the most obvious of the scratches.I scratched the instrument binnacle onmy DB9 GT

This is something that's developed recently on my MY05 DB9 radio. When I purchased the AM 2 years ago I had a PPI done (distant city purchase) and the PPI revealed a kind of internal pealing within my speedo binnacle. The dealer had it repaired so I bought the car. Now I fear it's developed within my radio display. This issue seems to be correlated with a warmer climate . (I live in SW Florida.)
How do you just "pop off" the glass in the radio display?
