The last few years when my DB9 has been serviced, I have been told that the crankshaft oil seal was weeping slightly.

Following the last main dealer service, I was told it was now more than a weep and really, should be looked at, I asked for a costing to repair.................after I recovered, I sought a couple of other quotes.

I spoke with a mobile mechanic, who works on some high end cars, he had carried out this repair in the past, so I booked with him to have it done.

A full days work, but I'm very pleased with the work carried out and amazed at how clean a 33k mile engine looks inside.

Also had the plugs changed at the same time.

You are fortunate it was the front seal, not the rear.
