Hi

I have recently luckily unearthed a UK document that finally gives me some infos on a car that has been off the road possibly for some 20 years and is currently undergoing a restoration.. I am in Australia.

I am looking for any information related to the car thats was in the UK till approx 84/85

UK REGO CON187
Chassis DBSV. 810183. RC

I have requested the heritage cert but wondered if anY of the previous owners may still be around or if any one has any memory of this car or its owners

Was owned till approx 1982 by David Thorpe of 137 Red Bank Road , Bipsham , Blackpool

Was Owned by Roger Norman Creed From 1980-1982 , from Prestbury, Macclesfield

Rego doc says two prior owners to David Thorpe , which I am assuming is the owner who took deliver that is unkown to me .

Can anyone also offer any advice , tips on where I might look for informations. Im not sure the DVLA would have much

Thanks for any input and advice

If I was you I would try the AMOC forum which has more of a focus on Classic Astons than here and also contact the Aston Martin Heritage Trust who keep a register of cars and may have the information you are looking for. Good luck.

DVLA may still have a copy of the old green logbook, depends if it was handed in. I got a copy for my DBSV8.

Is there a process to apply for the green log book?

I think it is this form to fill in and request the vehicle information. If the info exists they will send out photocopy quality printouts of the original documents. Do not expect high quality copies!! They are from stored images as the original documents will of been destroyed. May be worth including a letter too.
