I think it’s about time to do a pre-emptive battery change. I’ve had my 2007 4.3 Vantage for nearly four years and think I might be running on the original battery. I tend to leave it on a conditioner throughout the winter when the car is used irregularly. However, as we are now getting towards summer and I use it most weekends, I tend not to bother with the charger. I am not sure how long the battery will last without the conditioner. Hence, I would appreciate any advice from fellow Pistonheaders regarding the recommended replacement battery and approximate price as well as advice on the best procedure to follow when swapping the battery, that ensures that all memory settings are maintained? Thanks in anticipation. Thanks, just checked eurocarparts and looks like the Bosch S5 battery is probably the best option with highest output and a 5year guarantee at circa £250. Is that about what you paid or do they offer better discounts.
