Manual Vantage incoming!
Discussion
This is a limited run special probably called 'GT' from AMR. The last generation Vantage with a manual box was £80K when launched, this car will be at least twice the price, progress?

So a little more info here, but not much that we probably didn't already know. Seems to suggest what AP said some time ago that the manual will be the 7spd dogleg, which would be a very good thing in my eyes as I absolutely love the gearbox in my V12VSM.
So any other thoughts on what the AMR Vantage will include? I've not asked my dealer yet, so I'm guessing blind here.
Some thoughts:
and anybody care to take a guess at the price?
Finally will it be a limited run special, or new std model?

Some thoughts:
- more power - but V8 or V12?
- improved / more track focused handling
- sports exhaust as std - maybe an improved version
- revised bodywork - the bonnet vents we have seen maybe
- Aero
- New wheels
- set colour schemes, including the established halo combo
and anybody care to take a guess at the price?
Finally will it be a limited run special, or new std model?

Sounds like we won’t have long to wait (details coming this week).
Personally I’d be amazed if it’s a limited edition (more likely to be limited by the demand). Why invest in the manual if you were only going to produce 100-200 of them? And I also think it would be slightly against the spirit of APs comments about the manual of it were to be limited to a special.
That’s not to say a GT8 equivalent isn’t coming at some point. Presumably we will get that later in the model lifecycle?

I agree, I can`t imagine a limited run manual, what would be the point. I can imagine a limited initial offer, followed by other similar limited offers, for the next five years or so...Personally I’d be amazed if it’s a limited edition (more likely to be limited by the demand).
