Hi all!
I used to enjoy modifying 200sx’s about 15 years ago, got into motorbikes then switched out to a 996 turbo then that went because I barely got to use it sadly.
After a pretty bad 3 years of things happening and lots of lessons of why you should live your life now and as much as you can, I suddenly realised I had never never considered owning THAT car that had been pretty much one of the best looking cars I have ever seen.
Just over a two weeks ago I was scouting for v8 vantages, the price point is incredible for the car, I find one locally with 19000 miles on an 06 with private plate, great options and clean as a whistle with ful AM history.
Today I picked it up and wow it just gets BETTER and BETTER with each mile! I’m 6ft 5in so it just JUST fits but what an incredible car this really is. I never thought I’d be able to buy an Aston and unbelievably I’ve had the chance, consider myself very lucky.
A big thumbs up to you all who enjoy this wonderful brand on a regular basis, I’ll be doing the North 500 this year, I got the car to make sure I made the most of the drive!
Hallelujah for a manual gearbox as well, it’s perfect for this car. WHAT a car 😀

Just over 2 months ago I bought my first Aston. A 06 MY (56 plate) manual V8V with 19k on the clock!

Good aren't they? biggrin

Any pics?

I will never forget the that day last year when my first Aston was delivered to me and it still makes my smile as much as it did that day.

Awesome car, congratulations. Enjoy the 500.

Puts the new (contrived?) shape to shame. Still one of the most beautiful cars out there.
