Hi,

I'd like to track down a DB6 my father owned in the early 1980's, reg PMT 333F. Does anyone know the car? Alternatively how should I go about tracking down the car's current owner?!

I would post on the AMOC forum (you don't have to be a member) and hopefully either someone will know it or one of the Registrars (Chris?) can offer some clues

The registration shows up as not being road taxed since August 1983 if that helps

Reg also shows the car was originally registered on 16 Nov 1967.

The 'PM' at the beginning of the plate also suggests it was first registered in East Sussex http://nice-reg.co.uk/info/area-of-issue-codes-for...

Not sure what dealers where in the area then and if they still exist now. Wonder if the AM factory would have any info in their archives based on the plate?

For 3 letter plates it was the last 2 letters that designated where it was first registered - so it should be London from the "MT" smile

Thank you. I'll try the AMOC. If it hasn't been taxed since 83 is there a chance it was exported?

Either exported, sitting in a barn, registration changed (do you have a chassis number?) or possibly scrapped (let’s hope not the latter)
