New DB9 owner

It turned out what I was missing was in fact a DB9. I drove one at my local (Cambridge dealer) to check I could get comfortable, I am 6'6" then set out to find one a bit more in budget. I ended up buying a 2008 car from Stratstone in Wilmslow which I picked up on Saturday.



In the 500 miles I have done so far I have been scarcely able to stop grinning, what a great car.

Next plan is for a modification to the steering wheel hub to bring the wheel a bit closer to me and free up some legroom, does anyone know if the fitting is a standard Ford / Volvo pattern?

Hi Ben

The steering wheel is adjustable to bring it closer to you

As far as I remember just undo the tilt release and then you adjust how far in and out you want the steering wheel

I agree it is, but I am at the limit of that adjustment and it would be a lot better with a bit more.

Congrats - that looks terrific. Got any pictures of the interior?

2008 came with several interior upgrades and from what I can see you have the Sports package - which is quite a firm ride.

I actually don't it has sort of dark cream leather with piano black trim. The car does have the sports pack fitted, the ride seems pretty good to me but I don't have anything really to compare it to.
