Hi all. I have just realised that the the wind deflector in my newly purchased DB7 Volante is locked in position at either side. Guess what? No such keys came with the car.

The previous owner has resolved to check if he still has them. However I'm sure they are just one those fiddly little keys that you find years down the line in a jar in the kitchen and can't remember what they are for - so you throw them away.

Does anyone know the manufacturer of the wind deflectors for Aston so I can ask them for a spare?

I'm pretty sure it is a factory option piece as I can't find any brand markings on it.

Maybe an A.M dealer can help you with this?

Had a search in AMOC and this is mentioned in DB7 section quite a few times

Aston part number 93-84857

Seems at least two people with similar issues had enough flex in trim at either side to remove and fit when required without the keys.

Thankyou both. There was enough flex in the side panel to pop it off without unlocking. Its not ideal but at least I can get it off for getting the dogs in occasionally (sorry if thats a mortal sin).

I'm sure AM will just want to sell a complete new screen but there is a chap on the DB7 Facebook page who appears to still work at the factory, with the part number maybe he can help. Cheers all.
