I am off to the Alps next week.

I have seen pictures of this sign but have never seen it on the road as I am normally focussed on enjoying the tarmac. Can anyone let me know where exactly it is as I would like to stop for a picture but don’t want to drive the whole pass at 10mph looking for it.

Cheers
Brian

Don't forget to visit Meiringen on the Swiss side of the pass.

Another famous British fictional character's author is recognised here.....

I didn't see it on the Furka.
The last picture shows us at the car park of the Reichenback Falls at Meiringen where Mr Conan Doyles fictional Slueth sorted Moriarty out.
It was on the way from Interlarken to the Furka Pass.
You just cannot beat touring the Alps in an Aston.

For those who can't make it over to foreign climes for a photo op, you can always whizz over to Canary Wharf for a snap. It's almost as glamorous. thumbup

Just back from the Furka in the DB9. Brilliant but the western half of the pass was still closed due to danger of avalanches. Did the James Bond bit so all good. Also did Susten, Spiringen and Overalp passes.

I am sure those coords are correct. It is just about the only place you can pull over on the Ziggy zaggy bit after Realp travelling westward.
