The DB9 service kits from Aston Martin dealers which include-

2x Airfilters
1 pack Pollen filters
1x Oilfilter
1x sump plug

Total cost inc VAT is £150 , great value i think and still using original parts. I service my car myself and always use original parts

Agreed, Blue Print are an OEM supplier for Japanese cars and I would have no hesitation using their parts. They also do the cabin/pollen filters at a sensible price. Are the OEM Aston filters Chinese like their brake pedals?

I have not found a supplier I would trust yet though for the oil filter but replacing the sump bolt every service is criminal when all you need is a seal. I just use the magnetic sump bolts and renew the seal each time.

give them a go ,they look good, had a look at website, usual claims about filtration flow which im sure are correct , OE parts are made to a strict budget, aftermarket performance parts use superior materials and design, and the bm can be re used. its all about "bang for your buck" as far as im concerned and if theres a gain in performance and or service life thats great, the good thing about the blueprint ones is they are to my eye exactly the same as the OE ones for a tenner each, for that money you could change them every month if you wanted!!.

I am using the BMC filters but noticed no performance difference, but when I bought them, it was because at that time I did not know about the Blue Print ones and so purchased serviceable ones purely from an economic perspective.

To be 100% effective, they need cleaning and re-oiling at service because they use the "dirt sticks to the sticky oil" principle rather than the perforated paper that "blocks like a vacuum cleaner bag" disposable principle.

Additionally, as the V12 is so susceptible to the oiling issue of the filters, any oil down there will have far less effect on intake restrictions on the foam filter than the OEM designed paper filters.

I think you can use Mazda filters for the pollen filters. Better than OEM as you can get them charcoal activated, with improves function. RX-8, if my memory is correct.

I use the Blueprint Filters in my Vantage, they fit well, nothing against them.
