Could someone in the know please tell me if a 2005~20012 DB9 and V8 vantage Ski slope are the same part for both models?
I want to replace mine on my 2005 DB9 and been offered a V8 vantage Ski slope and have been told that this part will fit both of these models.
Just want to make sure before buying it.

Thanks
Steve

I would suggest removing your existing one and checking the back and also what type of ignition starter 'button' you have.

I only say this as the early ones were plastic backed and the later ones metallic (And you cannot simply swap one for the other).

I believe this was due to the surrounds distorting, but then i think some of them tended to crack from the sat nav edge.

Also (I am not sure this applied to the DB9), but the push button starter hole changed size. From when you had a 'push button' to the ECU glass key type.

I looked at swapping mine and ended up buying the later metallic backed version with the larger key hole which didn't fit.

Its a bit of a mine field, especially when you start adding in what finish and whether its a manual or automatic etc

Just double check and hopefully you'll be ok.

If you fancy something a bit different, for an auto, with small start button hole, metal backed...

On the nav screen, yes. It’s a Tatra Rouge version from a DB9 Le Mans edition...
