Navigation DVD drive and accessories

Hello all,

I am after a working navigation DVD drive for a Vantage V8 07 plate .

New they are £1200 so ain’t happening .
Used they are about £600, ain’t happening .

Is there another way ? It isn’t the laser as i cleaned it but more the motor no longer spins the disc around .

Anyone got any good ideas to get what should be a £20 unit replaced or working again for a sensible price .

Also, does anyone know what accessories the Vantage came with ? So warning triangle , compressor and tyre gunk , what else ?

I think you will find its the same as a Volvo XC90.

I am talking about a MY 2011: first aid kit, tool kit, some spare bulbs (all of this under the battery shelf). Umbrella in the boot was optional. Lamy pen in the dash of course and the 3 keys. I can't think of anything else.

If in the boot, tucked all the way back over the ''hunch'' (under the parcel shelf) you can see two latches, then an umbrella is missing. No latches, no option.

Just a thought. Apple Carplay retrofitted by Aston Installations is circa £1,200.

Clealry way more than the replacement sat nav but brings you all the Carplay benefits including Waze, the best Sat Nav app. I had it fitted to my Vantage and its transformational. Brings the car bang up to date.

Thanks EVR, going to check it tonight . I want to complete my car back to factory spec as it were, bit OCD like that.

Re the apply play, yes I spoke to a guy called James about that. I want to see IF I can get the DVD player for sub £100 that way the car is "complete" in my mind. I will very most likely pay for that.
