I posted this in the classic section: passing thru Knox Bridge today I spotted the following parked outside "Thrift Cottage" biggrin

It MUST be well known in the AM community?

Weird. It sold at auction 6 years ago (September 07, 2013): https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/aston-martin/...

Was never MOT'd again (Last was 13 August 2013).

Amazing how messed up it got just sitting there.

the merc is sorned as well - doesnt look like the cottage has changed much at since google maps in 2010 (apart form a few cars abandoned outside). Maybe the person is unwell, or unable to drive.

No idea why someone wouldn’t cover the car.

the number plate alone must be worth a few bob.

Some people have more money than sense. If it were me I would be knocking on the door with a bunch of money.

I feel like that too. Hopefully the owner isn't one of those people who would rather their car sat and rotted rather than sell it though.

That does look like very fast decline, but then if the clear coat was just going, and has now gone, and its been pushed around and or bumped into a bit. But yeah, really old for a car of that sort of value to just be rotting.

The current streetview photo must be a much older picture.
Property extension now.

A tall fence to hide the front door is - what would you call that - artistic?

It tells you (at least on desktop) what date a picture is from on streetview - March 2010.

But you can make out the car on the newer aerial view.

Fairly sure all the details are above ,only one main road through Knox Bridge.

Look for the house with the Aston outside.....paperbag
