Rapide Tyre System Fault

My son in law’s 2013 Rapide is showing a tyre system warning light and message. The message alternates with one showing the tyre pressures so the monitoring system appears OK as well as the tyre pressures showing 28psi to both rears and 26/25 psi to the fronts.
Anyone any ideas as to what is going on please?

Hi David,
I had exactly the same problem with my 2011 Rapide.
It turned out to be failing batteries in the pressure sensors in the wheels.
Once they were changed the problem was gone.

Yes, take the warning as a low battery message for the sensors, I had the same on my Vantage. After 5-7 years batteries are going out.

Take a look at my thread for more details, and also the brand of sensors I installed, with a decent economy compared to dealer.
