21st March when I got my 06 facelift Vantage

I perhaps drove it twice with the lights on
However we are now back around the annual clock and lights required once more.
Last night it was raining lightly and dark at about 8pm. Down the lanes the lights were a bit underwhelming.
When I looked at them after arriving home they seem pretty good,if a little less white than newer cars.
Interestingly both my van and old car have led bulbs fitted which are very good.....for less than £20!

So to the point.
I can see the dipped xenon seem a bit low in projection which I think others have mentioned. So I guess I could sort that especially when I finally get round to improving the fitment of the whole headlights as per a previous thread.
Any recommendations for better xenon bulbs?
And then maybe some led full beams to match?

Anyone done similar?

Is it possible to convert to HID?
I see Astonmartinbits have a pair (used) for about £1500.
Bit pricey but depends how much you need them.

You could probably go up to 55W HID bulbs from the stock 35W but I don't know whether the ballasts would like it.

I installed the 55W HID's to main beam which improved them no end but still went with some auxiliary main beam floodlights for country roads.

Maybe simply replacing the stock bulbs with new units will help?
