Do any if you know (from the markings on the inside of the wheel) who was the manufacturer of these wheels ?

Thank you.

From memory I’m almost certain they are a Rimstock produced wheel.

Thank you Mark.
I was hoping that they would have been the manufacturer.

When I removed one of my 20 spoke wheels, I was surprised to find they were made by Speedline, Italy.

Why do you want to know the manufacture?

Do they supply wheels cheaper than the suppliers like astin martin bits??

I'm after a set but I've got a set budget, would love a set for around £1000 ish.

Paul,

Your figure of £1,000 for four wheels may be on the low side, but worth trying you might be lucky.
Aston Martin list them new at £3692.19 (incl VAT) each.

Don't know the answer to your other question.

They do a refurbishment service and hold stock on some AM designs

I used them when I had my Lotus Europa as they were the OE supplier, and was very happy with the results.

which sport pack wheels do you mean?

The 2010 5 split spoke ones like below I was told were made by BBS. I was also told they are super rare and Aston had to refurb some old ones when they built their v8 cygnet.

these are the ones I am talking about when I say sport pack, on my car.

Those which were fitted to every V8 Vantage with the Sport Pack option, from (about) 2007 to 2012.

Some do look slightly different in photos, but I think they might be the diamond turned version.

ok thanks.

My wheels are sports pack wheels as shown on the build sheet but they were not an option in 2007 and I thought were replaced by the below before 2012 which is why I asked.

Is the original question referring to the wheels I posted?

I thought these were also sport pack wheels

Yes, the wheel style on your own car.
They were part of the Sports Pack option when the 4.7 was introduced, but were seen before that on the 4.3 N400.

Not sure when those wheels were discontinued, possibly MY 2012.25, or maybe earlier.
I dont know, but the wheels in your photo above might be a subsequent Sport Pack version.
Think eventually the standard V8V adopted the V8VS suspension, so presumably the Sport Pack option ended then.

I am no expert but I understood these were a cost option on all 2010 model year onwards 4.7 in either silver or diamond cut finishes.

So are these Rimstock or BBS wheels then?
I'd always thought they were Rimstock. I tried calling Rimstock about doing a refurb but they no longer offer such a service, despite their website saying otherwise.
I'd like to get mine returned to diamond turned finish, but recognising this doesn't last very long in the UK climate. What other finishes have people applied to these wheels? I did have mine refurbed a couple of years ago with a two tone powdercoat finish to try to replicate the diamond finish, but the results were not quite what I expected and would like to get them done again.

Different colour, but those are also factory fitted on my N420.

the diamond turned finish is still laquered though? not sure why it wouldnt last long. My car is a 2010 and has been outside all its life and they are still shiny.

Most diamond cut wheels suffer from “white worm” where stones chip the lacquer and water gets underneath and leaves a white stain.

My old car had 3 wheels changed under warranty at 2 years old and the rears were showing a few white bits when I sold it last month.
