Finally after a years of wanting a vantage I have finally got one.
I have been looking on and off for about 18 months and have looked at about four cars but each time little things put me off like lack of service history and almost every one needed brakes, door modules and in two cases clutches.
I had seen this car near to me but never got around to looking at it . Eventually I took the 30 min drive to the dealer selling it on sor .The car was exactly as described with perfect paint and interior with a full service history mostly done by bridge mill motors invoices for recent clutch , brakes ,modules and a recent health report with only one minor item which garage fixed before I picked it up

Have been driving around with big smile now for a few days now and my kids love it just wish it would stop raining

Spec is meteorite grey with phantom grey leather , heated seats, heated front and rear screens premium sound , hid lights etc etc . Strangely no sat nav. But with the condition and history I thought I will use a Tom tom

Congratulations getting a vantage.

You are very lucky to get a rare one with no sat nav, my DB9 hasn't got sat nav either with an original gloss mahogany ski slope, also i believe quite rare too.

Phantom leather looks ace also, nicer than the all too common black.

Looks really nice.

Don't worry about the Sat Nav, I've had my car 7 months now and never used it as it's crap!

Congratulations - looks beautiful. I looked for a while before I got mine, but not for as long as you - I wouldn't have had the patience!

4.3 or 4.7? Manual or SS?

9 years into DB9 ownership and it has not gone yet.

Vantage is a 4.3 2006 six speed manual.
Having now driven it around for a few days here are a few thought.
First and second are a bit stiff until it warms up, steering and ride are great. Noise is fantastic, think there may be a hole in the petrol tank , almost everyone loves the car and have had nice comments from passers by.
I have found 3 small issues first the trip computer won’t cycle through info. Have traced this to a faulty stalk button second I think the exhaust valves are stuck and n the open position and third and the headlight washers pop up but don’t spray.
I think the last two issues may have been modified by previous owners to be like this

Congrats!

On the stalk: there is another thread who has a solution:

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

The valves might just need some WD40, you can see them if you look under the car. Or maybe the previous owner removed fuse 22 in the boot, a very common practice to make it louder. Search on here for ''fuse 22'' to have all the info you might want & need.

For the headlights washer, from the manual:

Headlamp Washers - Headlamp washers will operate automatically, once per journey (each ignition ON), if the windscreen washers are operated and the headlamps are ON.

I`ve actually had the fuse to my headlight washers removed. All it does is make a mess of the front of the car!
