Its back at lidl, £13.99, had mine 2 years works perfectly, i chopped the plug off my ridiculously priced AM branded ctek (that packed up just after the warranty ran out)
And the crocodile clips off the lidl one couple of crimp connectors jobs a good un,

I have the same Lidl one. Can you show a picture of how you put the AM plug onto it?

I had the same one for many years on a car that I stored outside, had no problems whatsover. Total bargain

Just had a look, i actually opened the plug , 1 small pozi screw, and soldered the wires to the pins, it would of been simpler to just join the wires with crimp or block connectors, have a look at the pic it will show you which pins the wires go to , red is positive, red black neg, if you get it wrong the charger will just come up with a polarity error message
