DBS Metal Gear Knob

New DBS owner with some nasty scratches on the metal gear knob. Anyone who have had this fixed or is it possible to polish by yourself?

Be careful polishing your knob in public
I always find a back and forth movement works the best

I just might be buying a new one, quite expensive but it’s the only thing that’s not top notch

Mine was way worse than than, I removed it and had it polished up by a local fabrication and metal polishing firm. Looks new now and was about £30 to have it done

That's taken some abuse to get in that state. The previous owner must have had more rings than a gypsy fortune teller !

Just get it polished, you don't want to be shelling out £700+.
