Body coloured ski-slope 2016+ MY Vantage dash
Discussion
I’ve only seen it done a couple of times, so I know it’s an acquired taste, but I’ve always thought my 2016 V8VS interior could benefit from a colour lift. It’s very black apart from the red stitching to match the Volcano red exterior. Sadly, even the paddle leathers are black and not red.
Any thoughts of the costs involved in getting another 2016 MY+ ski slope dash and having it painted matching Volcano red? I’d like to keep the original piano black one in case I want to revert.
I also think it would be good to get a new cover forward of the armrest which is also piano black done in the same way. It as SportShift model, so no gear lever surround to consider.
How easy is it to remove and refit these two parts?
I’d probably look to ask AM Bristol to do it if I take it further, but curious how much these parts are. Painting of them is something on top, of course.
Thanks for any thoughts... and example of any other customisation of their ski-slope dash panels!

Thanks both for your thoughts. I must admit I hadn’t considered wrapping - I know that it would bug me to know that it’s now 100% colour matched or that it could distort/peel over time. But I’m just over-reacting and weird like that
I’m not that much into CF either for display. Great material but happy to it to be hidden.
I simply like the idea that the outside colour of the car is brought inside in one “swoosh” down the centre console.
I know that a lighter silver was also an option from new. But apart from Piano black and CF, were there any other non-Q options?

16MY Fascia Colour & Trim options:

My 17MY V8 Vantage S has got the standard Iridium Silver fascia. When negotiating the purchase before I had seen the car, I felt the fascia should be swapped in favour of Piano Black as part of the deal because I didn´t want the silver air vents to visually disappear in the silver waterfall.
But as soon as I had seen the Iridium Silver waterfall in the flesh, it was clear that I would keep it. It really brightens up the Obsidian Black interior and is a beautiful optical highlight of the car. Astounding that so few cars were ordered with Iridium Silver; the vast majority that I have seen has Piano Black. While the high gloss surface of the Piano Black is admittedly a touch nobler, the Iridium Silver is widely immune against scratches and fingerprints.

Thanks for the image, Emilio! I fully agree that the lighter silver lifts the dark nature of most interiors. Good choice.

Interesting to see the from-new options; I didn't realise there were two silvers (Iridium and Graphite) as well as a Mocha! Never, ever seen the last advertised on a car. I think that one could be interesting.

Dread to think of the effect on resale value of "Piano Ice Mocha"
Ahaha I thought the same.
I’m starting to get all grumpy about all the monochrome resale colours inside and out. Bah! Humbug!
