I dont like whisky particularly, so I wouldn’t be a buyer. But for those that do like whisky, is anyone going to actually buy this stuff?

I like whiskey now and again, always have a bottle or three at home. I have been to Bowmore, tasted Bowmore, (it`s good stuff) but have never bought Bowmore, as I have other preferences. A partnership with AM is not going to change that for me. Suspect it will for some though.

Absolute joke.
“Brand” (which is how they see themselves) has lost its way; unlikely to exist in 5 years time due to s
t decisions like this, unfortunately (not as a car maker, anyway - suspect they will still branded s
te to gullible James Bond wannabes).
What made AM special went years ago, they’re flogging a dead horse now.

Stock price multiple is much higher for luxury goods versus automotive.
True John, but need all revenue to be derived from making expensive watches, handbags, jewellery etc. for a genuine higher rating, not just be loosely associated with those activities. Volkswagen could start selling some pricey handbags, but of course their share price would not triple, because they would remain overwhelmingly a car manufacture.JohnG1 said:
Sensible business decision, when going for IPO
Possibly might produce a temporary float price increase. Some firms have attempted that.Jon39 said:
