Boot automatically releasing

My Vanquish S (18) has started releasing the boot today. I close the lid and the soft close does it’s thing, then a few seconds later it releases and opens.

It had been fine whilst on a trickle charger and started after starting the car after a long period of inactivity (4 weeks).

Is this likely to be battery related? Any reset tips?

If the car is only a year old then it's under warranty. I wouldn't mess, I'd take it to the dealer.

I’ve swapped over the trickle charger for a full charger which reports 12.5v and 60% so I’ll leave it 24-48 hrs and see what happens, as the interior lights were flashing as well. It seems battery related, so I’ll give it a chance before calling AM.

Is there a battery / system reset process (like for when the windows need resetting?)
