Good book about Aston Martin DB9?
Discussion
I already got the great "Aston Martin Bible", The Definitive Guide to new Gaydon era Aston Martin (ninth edition 2014).
My wife gave me the book as birthday gift in February 2015. After I read it twice I bought my DB9 MY09 in Mars 2015.

Fullsize 1920x1200
The "Last of the 9" has been built and they left the Gaydon factory about three years ago. I now wondering if there is any good book covering Aston Martin DB9, other than TDGTNGEAM? A book that sums up the DB9 history? Construction, prototypes, technical data, production, model year changes, how many made over the years, special editions, as much data and numbers as possible. Have no problems if other Aston Martins are covered in the same book.
Think I read a comment made by Grant some years ago when someone here asked a similar question. He wrote Aston Martin really never talked about production numbers and similar. He refereed to the homepage of www.astonmartins.com and its author for the best sum up. I hope someone made a good book since then.
The reason for asking is two:
1. My wife has asked me what I want for my birthday.
2. I want a book about the Aston Martin DB9.
(I've tried searching the forum for an answer but didn't find what I searched for.)

Now done some more googling. Find mostly thin "super car books" for kids, but also some books that looks promising. Anyone who can say something about the DB9 facts in these books?

And then we have this book. I have the ninth edition from 2014 and read it twice before buying my DB9. Really love that book, but I now want a book that sums up the DB9 history. Does the last edition do this? (Maybe I should ask that question in that book thread here on PH.) I know this is "only" a digital book now-days, and I really don't have something else but my PC that can be used to read it. So if this book would be the best one covering the DB9 history I guess I have three choices if I wishes this book for my birthday and want to read it in my favorite chair: Also wish me some kind of iPad thing, or lots of printer cartridges, or a gift card that could be used to buy a printed edition that hopefully will be available in the future.

Little update:
Did search some more and last week I got Andew Noakes "Aston Martin DB 70 years".

Looks like a good book about the history of Aston Martins cars having DB in their name. But it's not what I hoped for.
Aston Martin DB 70 years contains 224 pages.
Only six pages about the DB9.
186: image of white DB9.
187: Text about ”DB8”, Gaydon factory, VH platform.
188-189: Image of DB9 Carbon Black special edition.
190: Volante, sport pack, ECU, three limited edition DB9 2010, end of production 2016, 16500 build. Taken over from DB7 as AM’s most successful car.
191: Image of DB9 Volante.
192-196: DBR9, DBRS9, DBS.
Can't see that Virage is mentioned, and the reason is probably because it hasn't got DB in its name.
Page 220 contains specifications for DB9, DBR9 and DBRS9.
Small image of white DB9 MY09-MY11. Next to it eight lines of facts about the DB9: Body, Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Brakes, Power, Speed and Acceleration.
Power said to be "600bhp @ 6500rpm (approx)"
Acceleration said to be "0-60mph in 3.0sec (approx)"
Maybe a good book about the history of DB. But if you looking for a book with as much info possible about the DB9 I have to quote Obi-Wan Kenobi: "This is not the book you're looking for". Already got the ninth edition (2014) of "The Definitive Guide to Gaydon era Aston Martin: The Ultimate Aston Martin Guide" by Grant Neal is way better DB9 book!
