Vantage seat access tilt - help please
Discussion
2010 V8V with standard sports seats.
The passenger seat (access) tilt function doesn't work. The motorised seatback tilt works ok and of course the strap release does the job so the catch to release the back is free to move.
Driver side is fine, a press on the seat tilt button produces a positive "whir-clunk" and sounds like a solenoid operating inside the seatback. When I press the button on the passenger headrest I can hear what sounds like a relay clicking but no servo sound.
I've stared at the diagrams on Scuderiaparts and can't see mention of a solenoid and my version of the workshop manual (Issue 6 March 2010) doesn't mention it either. Prior to heaving the seat out of the car and pulling it apart - has anyone else had to fix this problem? And is it a separate solenoid or is the release mechanism integrated in the seat-back motor?
I know it's not a big problem but it's bugging me that something doesn't operate as it should.
Thanks in advance for any clues.

Bad luck - there is a seperate solenoid (or a small motor, not sure?) inside the backrest cushion.
Definitely not connected to the rear tilt motor.
So its seat out & stripping the lower part of the seats backrest.
The back shell is structural, so the part must be acessed from the front.
I would recommend NOT to try to remove the complete leather, as mounting the headrest slot is nightmarish complicated.
Here's a viev when the leather and foam are off, the part you need to acess is behind the bladder of the backrest.
The operating wires run down the side of the seat, where they meet the mechanic release. in the upper part they bent downwards and meet at the solenoid.
