A 55 year old DB5. Why advertise showing 101 mileage ?
Discussion
Just intrigued by the mileage.
Multiple owners, extensive repairs, looking good though.

Its a 55 year old car. The mileage- whatever the odometer says- is irrelevent as it would have had 3 or 4 engine rebuilds by now, probably 2 chassis restorations and most things replaced.
That sounds very encouraging William, because I am soon going to sell a 53 year old car.
All original, even the paintwork still shines, and only minor blemishes, certainly no restoration has been needed.
Perhaps people don't look after their cars well enough !
MoT at 36,025, now 36,041 miles. No more MoTs required.
Is an original car worth more than a restored version?
Oh I forgot to mention, it is not a DB5, but a Singer Chamois, so probably makes no difference.

Have to confess I’ve never seen a DB5 with more than one engine rebuild and chassis rebuild. Albeit I’m sure any car with an early restoration (say 90s) is probably coming around to a need to do it againIt’s one of the reasons I sold my DB5. It’s difficult to enjoy them knowing that every few years someone like AM Works will ask you for £350k to completely rebuild it and without a recent restoration the values drop

Just an excuse to paint it silver...
