Afternoon all,

I know this has been discussed many times, but what would 4.3 Vantage owners recommend ?
Car is 2006 which I purchased recently and need new front tyres, currently running on Bridgestone
Potenza.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Pilot sport 4, very confidence inspiring even in the cold and wet, still with a bit of playfulness if you wish but doesn’t feel lacking in grip like you need to baby it.
Pirelli P zeros that came fitted on my other car are like ice and I don’t enjoy driving it at all outside of warm dry conditions. Do not buy.

Pirelli P zeros (Corsa) are a summer tyre only
Pirelli P Zeros can be used all year

Michelins seem to be the best from the consensus on here, Costco had them with £50 off for two or £100 off for four but that offer has now finished

I had all 4 swapped from Bridgestone to Michelin pilot 4s this morning (I needed fronts anyway) and with the limited driving I did today, it feels more sure footed!!

If you don't race your Vantage all the time Kumhos are great and cost much less. I had them on my BMW and Audi and will put them on my Aston

Interesting this regarding Michelin vs Kumho
I’ve just fitted PS4 to my Alfa gt. primarily because of the reports of improved ride quality. This has been achieved even though I’m up a wheel size and down a profile of course.

The wheels I removed had Kumho on.
The ride was probably a little harsher but I would say the grip and turn in was better than PS4. I have done about 250 miles on the new tyres now
They just feel more vague. I guess it must be down to the more flexible construction.

There are also continental and Yokohama choices. Im on my first set of Yokohama, because I couldnt find a complete front and rear set of PS4 in correct larger size for my Vantage. So far they are great, so much better wet and dry. Interested most to see how long they last. My experience of continental is they dont last long whereas Ive had real good life out of Michelins on other cars, well worth the money from that perspective
