Is the N420 a rarer model? If so it's worth a little more IMO.
I believe that there were about 250 coupes and 103 roadsters made from 420 of each type available. Are they worth more, depends on who you ask. I'm sure that a limited edition car could be worth more to a collector than a non limited car to the same spec?? Gavin
Personally I wouldn't give a copper coin more than any other decent spec Vantage S. There's nothing really technical which makes an N420 or N430 any better from what I can recall, it's just trim level really with rock hard suspension and a sports exhaust.
Usual story I'd say............dealers will try and persuade you it's rarer and better.....until the day you want to trade it back in, then it's no different to any other Vantage.
Long term I can't see any of these "specials" being worth a penny more than anything else, they're hardly rare (in relative terms)......just my two cents worth

The sports suspension and exhaust seem worthwhile- carbon bits I can take or leave. Choice is a 2011 22k miles n420 or £3k more for a 2013 6k mikes standard (no sports pack/exhaust/seats). Use is gt and spirited driving, on special occasions
For me, with so many bumpy roads in the UK now, I am very happy with the standard suspension. It is very firm, so I certainly would not want it any harder. If you have not already done so you need to drive, so that you know which you prefer.
The N420 is based on the standard 4.7 -- not the S. It is mechanically identical to a 4.7 V8V with the Sports Pack, except that it came with the sports exhaust (different -- deeper note and crackling on the overrun -- but neither better nor worse imo). Which means it's great, and identical to drive to a 4.7 with the Sports Pack. However, after MY12.25 the Sports Pack became the still-firmer V8VS setup -- which is what the N430 (not the N420) came with. The '13 with the "Comfort" suspension will ride more softly than the N420, but won't handle as sharply. To each his own, of course, but for me the original Sports Pack (as in the N420) is the sweet spot -- sharper handling, but without crossing the line into the perhaps overly firm ride of the later Sports Pack/S/N430.
