Ive noticed my v12 vantage tramlines quite a bit . Much more than the v8 ( don't remember it ever in the v8 ) .
I've had the geo. done , was very marginally out , and the tyres are p zero , with lots of tread .
Is this just wide front tyres or not normal ?

I guess there are a few parts to this smile

- The track is wider and the tyres are wider - so it may be a little more noticable
- This happens to me when pressures aren't quite right - so might be worth checking that out
- On the M25, there is a horrific section of road on the left lane where the car sits in the lorry ruts - but not quite perfectly. Could this be related to road surface?

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Chris.

My experience of P Zeros on my previous jag was that they tended to tramline as they aged and wore out

So might just be a combo of age and wear of the tyres

No evidence of it from mine, 19,000km and on pzero (which I must say I don't like as much as the michelins I had on the V8)

Mine does a bit but I always put it down to having the worst roads in Western Europe

Took mine out for the first time in a few months last week in very cold temperatures and really noticed it tramlining and the steering wheel squirming in my hands. Not sure if I’d just got used to the Golf Rs incredibly stable ride or if the combination of temperatures and my lack of recency in the V12 made the difference. Definitely a factor though.
