I've held off from commenting on this subject as I don't wish to be negative.
The aesthetics of the new Vantage aren't that bad but it's not groundbreaking.
It's always difficult to invent a new mousetrap when the previous Vantage ticked all the boxes.
Both grills will have their fans, it's very subjective.
However, let's face it, the front is just not quite right.
It's not just the grills it's the slitty lights and the bonnet shut line and the large expanse of featureless bonnet.
I don't think the small bonnet vents bring much to the party.
I went to see the Bond DB10 Vantage at Grange and I didn't like the look of that either,It was imo bland.
Having said all that I hope that Aston will sell loads of them.

Can we have the classic grill in the poll or is that a foregone conclusion ?!
Better not go there as we know what the overall result would probably be, but to be fair to Aston they had a tough job trying to replace and modernise what is one of the most beautiful car designs out there and I think having a classic style grille option is a no brainer
Can someone explain to me how I use Thumbsnap or anything else to post pictures on here?
Then I can show you my 15 minute redesign of the current Vantage.
Meanwhile I can explain the principles. The tail is way too low, it resembles a Marcos Mantula. There are too many gratuitous swage lines all over the body, but particularly on the bonnet, where they, and the bulge, and the w
ky little airslots, are unconvincing, and invisible from the driving seat. There has always been a Tesla-like horizontal line across the front just below the headlights, onto which they can, and have, stuck anything they like, from the Bond DB8 on. None of it really works and they need to ditch the shark aesthetic and go with the natural lines of the car.

that new roadster (won’t AM call it a Volante?) ...
I think I am correct to say, that Volante has always been the name used for the GT models, and Roadster for the more recent sports cars.
