DV9 Volante refuelling issues

Has anyone else found that refuelling a DB9 can take a very long time?

After about the half full level, mine seems to trigger the pump auto cut-off consistently for the rest of the full-up and fuel is only able to dribble in painfully slowly.

I normally get bored and give up at around the 3/4 full level.

Any ideas welcomed!

Better venting will help, and not pulling the lever all the way also makes a difference.
Pretend it’s an LM special and put a 100 litre auxiliary tank in the boot.

How can I make the venting better? I know some cars have a charcoal filter on the fuel tank vent which needs changing - anyone know if the DB9 has one and if so how I can change it?

Try rotating the pump handle 180 degrees. It looks strange, but I am able to fill the tank completely.
