Since today the car has developed a squeaky noise at the rear. It's most noticeable when going over a speed-bump at low speeds. Also when the car get's twisted along the length going down a garage ramp. It's annoyingly noticeable, like driving a 30 year old Corolla.
It's pretty bad bumping along the highway at speed as well, but putting the suspension into Sport get's rid of most of the noise.

I have tried replicating the noise by jumping up and down the rear door sill and the boot, but that doesn't cause a noise.

Are the bushings bad? Can I still safely drive if I ignore the noise?

could be a wheel bearing or maybe the handbrake pads dragging. Easy enough to diagnose with the car up on a ramp. I had 3 out of 4 of the wheel bearings go on my first Vantage, over 83k miles and 9 years. About £500 a corner fitted

Wouldn't it be a constant noise with either the wheel bearings or the handbrake pad? The noise is only when the car bumps over something, a speed-bump, bouncing up and down at speed on the highway, rolling down a parking ramp or my driveway at an angle so that the car twists along it's length etc

nope, not a constant noise necessarily, could just be catching now and again. Could get progressively worse. May take weeks or months. May go away from time to time and come back. At least thats my experience. Each time a wheel bearing went it was slightly different symptoms and I thought to myself "cant be another" and it was......

it could be something in your suspension. Really need to get it looked at, a specialist with a ramp would soon diagnose it.

The suspension bolts can corrode and cause a squeak - have a look at Aston 1936’s website. He does a video that describes exactly what you’re experiencing and the fix.

It'll be the anti roll bar bushes.
You can hide the noise for a while by lubricating them but once you've gone to the trouble of unbolting the U shaped brackets you might as well just renew the bushes.

Does the squeek stop with slight application of hand or foot brake? If yes, then the pads need different grease and possible chamfering.

I had this issue on my 2015 Vanquish. It only occurred at very low speed (< 10-15 mph)

My DB9 had the squeaky front suspension described by aston1936 in the above link, so I replaced the upper control arms per his video. Solved it.

A short time later my rear suspension started squeaking in a similar manner, only in cold weather. I did a good cleaning around the rear upper bushings and applied a high quality silicone paste to the exposed bushing material. Seems to have solved it for the time being.

Having said that, if the OP's problem didn't coincide with a sudden change to cold weather, I'd have it looked at.
