Larini, Quicksilver or other on a NP Vanq?
Discussion
I need a new rear box on my Vanquish S. I'm not looking for anything noisier than the standard system and so am therefore leaning towards the Quicksilver as it has a bigger silencer.
Has anyone compared both?
Is there any other system I should be looking at? Do Bamford Rose make one and how much are they?

Most aftermarket exhausts will be louder so is it a different tone you're after or simply a replacement backbox of some description because yours has rusted through or otherwise sustained damage?magycks said:

Both inlet pipes to the rear box have broken so exhaust gasses (and noise) can escape before entering the silencer. Speaking with the guy working on the car, we're going with the Quicksilver as they have one on the shelf. Better than the cost of a standard silencer.Buzz Killington said:
Nice, is that the GTE or ST silencer? Also, Did you fit a decat or sports cat?
Honestly don't know, only recently bought the car and found the Larini box after sale whilst wondering why the exhaust valve remote kit I bought wasn't working. Need to borrow a ramp so I can get underneath and do some look see. No decat though, as I still have functioning ears.
Amusing party trick though in that it sets of car alarms of cars parked to close when she fire up.

Thanks for that - I think I’ll start with fuse 15/22, and maybe then freer flowing secondary cats.Amusing party trick though in that it sets of car alarms of cars parked to close when she fire up.

I met with Josh at JH Pearce Chobam yesterday, he was of the opinion Larini was of better quality, but QS is what they use on the competition variants.

Yes the guy that fit my quicksilver was not impressed with the quality at all he said it was shocking
Hopefully it was an off-day as it has been ordered.
Thanks to all who have replied. I will report back with what I (and the garage fitting it) think of it to maybe help others.
I had the CCCharger keyfob fitted by the man himself as he is very close to the storage place I use.
Works well for me, and as someone who is not seeking performance improvements, may stick with this solution.
Primary decat is obviously risk mitigation as well as sound and bhp improvement, so not ruled out completely.
