The owners manual of my 2014 Vantage V8 (with 245/40 and 285/35 on 19" AM V-spoke wheels) tells me to torque the wheel bolts (21mm socket)
with 133 lb/ft (180Nm).
On the internet (and in this forum) I find different values, either 80 lf/ft or 100 lb/ft, including comments like "the owners manual has been revised".
Can somebody tell me what the correct torque value is (133 lb/ft seem very high).

The same discussion on the Facebook group recently revealed that it seems that some of the various modelyears and wheel types do have their specific torque numbers. On my MY17 it is 80 Nm/180 Nm according to the owner´s manual but others quoted 70 Nm or similar for the first step and e.g. 135 Nm etc. for the second step from their manuals.

180 Nm is light lorry-like, yes, and I was advised that this should be correct as the wheel studs were allegedly taken from the Ford Transit.smile

My 2006 V8V has a printed correction page inserted in the owners manual stating -

Vehicles with 22mm across flats nuts 80nm stage 1, then 135nm stage 2

Vehicles with 21mm across flats nuts 80nm stage 1, then 180nm stage 2

So there must have been a typo in some manuals.
