2013 Vantage radio reception

one other 'feature' I've noticed is radio reception is very poor - TADTS or back for dealer investigation and remedy?

in my 2012 is pretty bad too, can only get major stations in strong signal areas. Have read about some people putting in line amplifiers on the antenna, but its a bit of hassle to get to so never bothered.

I have the same , crackle like you get from old
ignition leads ...

You can get DAB upgrade, I think it was about £1300 from dealer, maybe half that aftermarket. Seem to remember McGurks offer it.

Another thing ive considered, but just not that bothered about the radio to spend the money.....

DAB reception in our other cars is even worse than FM - I'll certainly not consider than an 'upgrade'. When it first came in it had decent bitrate and coverage in cities was good - but quality has dropped and coverage not great out here in the sticks, so will stick with working out how to improve my FM reception.....

I'm glad it isn't just me that finds DAB a tad disappointing .

Does everything on an Aston involve multiples of £1200 ...

Didnt realise DAB could be just as bad, never had it and assumed it would have great coverage and perfect signal.......glad I havnt bothered !

My radio receptions is rubbish too. I tend to just use a radio app on the phone. Crystal clear and every radio station in the world available.

I have DAB on my 2015 V12VSR and it is rubbish. Mind you I live in Devon and DAB isn’t that great in the house. Another good reason not to turn it on and just listen to the beautiful sound of the engine
