Bluetooth - do i have it?

Hi, I've just purchased a 2007 Vantage and loving the experience.
I've the phone controls on the steering wheel however when I press the talk button it interrupts the radio but fails to announce the voice menu you'd expect.
Do you think it's a fault or is there anything else I should try to pair my phone.

I think that pressing the button should cause it to talk to you anyway, even if your phone hasn't paired. I thought one of the commands you could give it was to pair the phone.

Agree, not heating anything so believe there's a fault.
