V12V - Servicing, alignment etc

Hi, car is with AM main dealer now for annual service. Been quoted £180 for air con reconditioning and £285 for wheel alignment. Would I be making a mistake in getting Kwik fit to do the air con and alignment? Any tips on alignment appreciated. I am in south west London.

£285 for alignment is a lot but not sure about Kwik fit - any indi's near you ?

F1 AutoCentres have Hunter alignment hardware, i always seems to get a thorough job done there, but admittedly have not taken the Aston.

For God Sake don't use KwikFit. Check out STS Tyre Pro's or a good AM indie.

Worth getting the alignment perfect, it makes such a difference to the drive of these cars. It's also quite a job to align, not just turning the steering arms!

I had a poor experience with AM Dealer who left the steering wheel a few degrees off the straight ahead (after warranty replacement of a lower arm, which I WAS grateful for) but excellent alignment at a knowledgeable AM Indie, Bamford Rose. After an 'alignment options' conversation (first I've had of those) I asked for it to be set for fast road and lo, it is transformed, and behaves exactly as Mike said it would.

Kwik Fit? Nah.

I had the wheel alignment done at am dealer last month it made a huge difference as it was a long way out. They will do it fo £200 if you ask them politely as I am sure they would appreciate the business at the moment.
I would personally see if they will do both items for £300 shaun
