V12 vacuum port

Hi, need some help w a v12 vantage 2014, in the Rh back of the intake manifold is black plug (red plastic lock) like a intake vacuum plug, when is closed goes all the way in, or completely closed the button is like 10 mm out; I asked because when I take it out I remember was completely in and when I put it again was like 10 mm out, but I am not sure.

As long as it’s pushed in as far as it will go it will be ok. You should not be able to just pull it out without pushing the black plastic ring in.

Is about 12mm out on mine if of any help.
