2007 V8 Vantage Bluetooth Upgrade Problem

Around 11 months ago I had the AM dealer fit (at considerable expense) the Bluetooth upgrade to my Premium audio.
It has been faultless until this week.
As I was driving, I lost all control from all buttons on the LHS of the steering wheel. Cruise control is still fine.
I was wondering if anyone had had similar issues with the LHS steering wheel buttons. It may be hardware.
I have turned the car off and on, but nothing.
