Just done mine at last service about 2 months ago, Motul Gear 300 75-90W based on 'redpants' recommendation, I believe there are only 2 choices which is the Motul or the very expensive OEM Castrol, I seem to remember though that if it's a sports-shift you have to use the Castrol.
Have a look on Redpants.lol website and there is info on there.
PS you also need the 'service kit' which consists of a small O ring and a couple of copper washers, I got my service kit from Nicholas Mee for around a tenner.

I am easily puzzled Jonny, but both the manual and Sportshift have the same gearbox.
The Sportshift utilising a computerised gearchange.
The SportShift is calibrated for a specific gear oil - Castrol BOT270A. If you don't use that gear oil, Aston may deny any warranty claims if anything happens to your transmission. There are a number of people out there using Motul Gear 300 in their SportShift transmissions and I haven't heard of any issues related to it, but do be aware of this.
