Never noticed till today that not all AM have the stylish wing mirror arms that the Vantage has

Noticed this when alongside a Vanquish today. And a DB9 I saw recently

It's not important but a shame I think...funky mirrors are cool lol

Yeah the pedant in me always thinks that too. Along with media that call all drivers 'motorists'.

Agree with the main point though that some door mirrors are like sculptured works of art.

Never really noticed before but had assumed the DB9 and V8V would share the same door mirrors to save cost.

You probably need to be a certain age to have had wing mirrors on your car. 😊

Well on the Vantage we could pretend the shapely devices attached to the doors look a bit like elegant wings lol

I got the more recent connection in your jest. - wink

Is it the DB11, DBSS or perhaps both, where AML explain how air pressure in the front wheel arches, is release by the curlicue. The airflow goes upwards and is then directed along the side of the car by the wing shaped arm of the door mirror.

Well, I might just believe that marketing guff, maybe at 150 mph, but they don't like me driving that fast.
