I have marked the binnacle on the instrument panel when cleaning my DB9 today with the plastic brush on a vaccum cleaner. Advice on how I can best polish it out would be very welcome.

If you are talking about the clear screen try toothpaste, it works on motorcycle screens and helmet visors for minor scratches.

That’s a tough one. I’d have to try various compounds and pads on a polisher to get it out, but it won’t be easy by hand I’m afraid.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have ordered a tube of the polywatch from Amazon and will give it a try.

More tips welcome, before Amzon deliver.

Paddy, if I have problems, could you help me?

I've ordered some Plast-RX from Halfords and will try it on my 2009 Mondeo instrument binaccle first and see how it compares wth Polywatch I hav on order from Amazon.

Both Plast-RX and Polywatch worked on my Mondeo Binnacle so I tried them on the DB9 and again they worked fine.

Thanks to this thread, I ordered and used a tube of Polywatch to try to remove the infuriating swirls and light scratches from that oh-so delicate piano black trim between the armrest and the waterfall. It worked well - big improvement.

That said, I still keep mulling the idea of getting it carbon-wrapped to avoid swirls and light scratches and also to reduce glare.
