This winter I've had an attack by mice in the garage. Luckily the worse I have found on the Vantage is the LH (passenger) door margin seal has been nibbled.

Has anyone had to replace this seal before? As usual an Aston replacement via Scuderia is ridiculous money. I would have thought this was a Jag part and Jag seals are 25% of the cost. Any ideas which Jag model most parts may have come from or was it just whatever was on the shelf back in the day? The seal seems glued in place and fixes to the body shell running along the cill from the wheel arch up to the chrome trim under the quarter window.

Any help appreciated.

Try East Kent Trim Supplies - if you have the profile of the trim (cross-section), they might have one, or at least be able to tell you where to look.

Are you certain thats mouse damage? I also suffered the exact same damage from a passenger who was incapable of lifting her leg clear of the sill on exit.

If they can't lift their legs: they're out!

Custom seal I'm afraid. and you'll need the 3M tape to stick it down as well.

I do wonder - if the door was shut could a mouse get to it like that ?

Get one from a breaker - can’t imagine there’s too much call for them. 3m double sided tape isn’t expensive.

I was surprised but looks like mouse bite marks. They do love neoprene and soft seals. Snapped so many this winter. First realised they are there because they had a go at the foam in the chassis. I’ll try a few breakers and see what I can find. I had hoped this would be a basic Volvo or jag seal.
