Revenant Automotive new Vantage snout alternative
Discussion
Just saw this over on the TopGear website...

Does change things, making an even more traditional effort than AM's official alternative. Revenant rally apes the previous Vantage.

what's that famous saying from John Lydgate?
You can please some of the people all of the time,
you can please all of the people some of the time,
but you can’t please all of the people all of the time
When you’re in business, you come across the scenario of not being able to please any of the people any of the time You can please some of the people all of the time,
you can please all of the people some of the time,
but you can’t please all of the people all of the time

That’s the thing about design. It’s subjective.
Still think AM did the right thing by not designing by committee. As a design leader, you’ve got to devise the future which isn’t yet visible for the customers.
Now we see options from AM and third parties emerge, followed by customers and others proclaiming they’d stick with the original, this is perhaps proving itself to be very true in many cases.
No rights or wrongs here. Only personal preferences. Vive la difference!

The responses to this thread certainly show that. Some love the original, some love the AM revised grille, some love this and hate the others. You can please some of the people all of the time,
you can please all of the people some of the time,
but you can’t please all of the people all of the time
And people wonder why it was hard for Aston to replace the Vantage...
When the population dislikes something in its entirety though, from front to back, inside out and top to bottom, there's really little point offering some minor cosmetic surgery, because they still wont buy it for the next reason in a long list of reasons.
On a positive note, I rarely hear negativity about the wing mirrors, or the seat belts. Of course the external door handles are from the old car, so they're wonderful.

The grill design is surely AML intellectual property? So hopefully these chaps have signed a deal with AML or they may find the AML lawyers knocking on the door. Remember, when AML thought Henrik Fisher was impinging they sent in the lawyers.
Anyone know this firm?
This did cross my mind as well. However, being pragmatic, hopefully AM see it as only a potential benefit to an existing customer. They will likely just remove the prized badge from the original nose and transplant it on the new one, so no need to duplicate that.Anyone know this firm?
The actual aperture is indeed a symbol of AM. But to a greater extent, AM are shifting away from his classic profile (although the new AM alternative is obviously reverting back more).
I also wonder the quality and what it’s made of. Has anyone found a link to the manufacturer’s page on it?
