Continental or Volvo part 31200556 works - but everyone wants big money for a bit of latex in a bottle - pricier than 750ml of champagne!

Cheers - and yes, your is probably out of date too!

Ken

try Volvo

The Volvo part No is 31200556 for the 560ml latex fluid that fits into the early V8V tyre repair kits

thats an Australian part no - maybe different over there but should help you

worst comes to worse I can get one & send it to you

Thanks Gra' - that's the number I had. I'm sure the pump hasn't changed over the years :

I got a new one of those for £20. Aston want £170 for the mucky kit which is basically the price of a new b tyre and might write off the TPMS sensor too!!!

There's plenty of short date latex bottles about but I want the full 5 years if I buy one. I'll call Volvo smile

If it's just to complete the package/looks in the boot, use a short date and get one of those Tyreweld instant inflators in a can ? Does the same job and much quicker and easier to use. I shudder to think of the hassle of using the OEM kit so carry Tyreweld with me as well.

Me too. Tyreweld is really easy to use.

Any gunk that goes sloshing around inside your tyre is going to knacker the TPMS sensor, even the OEM bottle, so makes sense to have the quickest, most cost effective solution that allows you to drive to the nearest garage. TPMS sensor would need to be replaced with a standard valve if the puncture was repairable, until you could fit a new TPMS sensor.

News to me the stuff was even dated! All my cars just have cans of tyreweld in, it's always about half the price of Halfords on Amazon! I do have the original bottle of gloop but it stays in the kit.

I carry a set of tyre plugs and a foot pump to avoid having to fill the tyre with gunk. Saying that, I should get a can of Tyreweld as a secondary backup.

LOl - yes I do carry Tyreweld and plugs too - the notion of a puncture on some back road in Europe absolutely ruining a holiday makes me wear belt and braces, twice! And I have had this gunk fail to work before.

Aston supply 560ml for the 20" whoppers on the Rapide so I'm sticking to exactly that and the same brand combo.

Got some from the dealer in Anglesey for £40 delivered and a 2024 date.

Cheers
