V12VS Valve noise - advice / help please

Need help

Took V12V for a long spirited drive on Friday (350km through the mountains in northern NSW)

got in it this morning & started it up (cold nights in inland NSW tablelands), it stuttered (which it never does) then I could hear a discernible "tick" at the front of the engine - sounds like valves to me

Have no recollection of ever hearing it before.

Car gas done 21,000km - a lot of it at high revs but never over revved

its still under warranty til November so if this is an issue i want it raised now

any thoughts appreciated

i was worried that might be the case

maybe the file was to big

think ist tappets or a valve sticking

Hard to guess without hearing it, but could it be the tensioner adjusting as the clutch on the A/C compressor kicks in and out? Try turning the A/C off and see what happens.
