V12 Vantage Sales
Discussion
Since buying my V12VS a little over a month ago I’ve been watching the V12 Vantage section on autotrader which is were I first spotted my car some 6 weeks ago.
At that time there were just over 60 for sale and checking this morning It’s down to 30, I know there was a second hand spotted article running on here a few days ago about V12 Vantages.
Does seem to be a steady seller at the moment......rise in values then..... cough cough...

Hi Big Rat glad you are enjoying your car.
I,m not up on the S model but the six speed manual cars seem to be selling very well . MD,s have three all over £70k and my pick of the cars right now would be this beauty below.

Sorry to dampen your enthusiasm but the market on these cars is very seasonal and it this happens every single year. Stock levels go back up in winter and prices drop again.
The difference this year is COVID has set back the timeline on the spring bounce as nothing was really able to be sold at the usual time.
In fairness the oldest lowest value V12V manuals hit a low of about £60k probably 7 or 8 years ago and they have never really dipped below that year on year, so that's a really positive sign for the longer term.

I can see only two V12V 6 speed manual now for sale, they really have been selling very well lately.
Are you getting those figures from main dealer stock ?Been watching autotrader closely and both manual and autos selling well from the indies and Aston Martin dealers...... 26 for both as of a few moments ago split evenly between manual and autos 13 apiece.
I haven’t noticed a preference for either in the last two months..... but with my war wound Sportshift it is but if I could turn the clock back

There’s certainly not many around but that’s the same with a few cars at the moment...I’m interested in either a V12 S or perhaps an F12 and think I will wait until winter now. Not in a hurry at this point !
Two great cars Cheib, but i would not wait ,i would buy that F12 on CC if it doesn't go mad its an absolute beauty IMO.cayman-black said:
