DB9 side strake

On my 2007 DB9, the small part of the side strake that is attached to the door, on both sides is coming loose.

I have removed the one on the drivers side, which was only attached to the door with some double sided tape. There is a small locating pin on the strake and a hole, in the door panel, there is two holes.

Should this piece be fitted to the door with some kind of fixing from the inside of the door, into the hole in the strake, or should it just be held on with double sided tape.

Any help appreciated.

Ive found that there need to be a 4mm bolt to secure the section, which need to be fitted through the or skin via a small hole in the inside of the door.

I’ve ordered some stainless bolts, there’s not much room, so looks like it’s going to be tricky.
