For those of you that bought or think of buying the new V8 Vantage, on 16 August 2020 at 0900PM EST on Youtube (Welt Documentary Channel) you should be able to have a good look at how one of these cars are put together. Welt Documentary has all kind of documentary for those interested.
Apparent contradiction in the video, as (at 19:03) “There’s no hectic work here at the assembly line - the work atmosphere is relaxed” and (at 21:42) “There is no time pressure here in Gaydon - the British manufacturer relies more on perfection than production numbers”, then goes onto say (at 35.18) that “the Quality Control has to be done quickly and effectively so the assembly line won’t come to a standstill” and (at 35.27) that “we have a core exact time of 30.64 seconds, so everything we do has to be done during that time - if we’re unable to complete in that time, then we’ll be holding the track and we’ll be deemed ‘over cycle’ at that point”.

Perhaps there were two different strategies whilst filming. We probably do not know when the filming was done.
If it was 2019, then that was when PHers began to surmise (eventually confirmed by AML), that many Vantages were being built and I think the term is 'channel stuffing', which ended up as unsold dealer stock. - Keep building. Don't hold the track.
We were told on here about cheap lease deals in USA, then later in December 2019 the £1000 down and 23 x £1000 PCP deals appeared in the UK. The accounts later revealed they were heavily subsidised by AML. - Concentrate on quality. Work atmosphere is relaxed.
