Wouldn't put Doug at the top of my "must watch" list, but he did just cover the exclusive Lagonda Taraf nicely here:

I've always been smitten and fascinated by the car. Saw one last year at AM Cheltenham for sale. I fully agree with Doug that it's the most beautiful saloon ever made. It's one of those objects that justifies it price point in mysterious ways...

I like the guy, but seemed a little bit too much into the Taraf, for what it is. I mean, I never saw one and I am sure it's fantastic, but I am not sure it can rival a Rolls-Royce, especially the interior.

"The best looking four door car I have ever seen" - what I have been saying for ages.

Nice to see this unknown car gets some attention/coverage and nice to see some details never seen before. Insofar: Thank you, YouTuber.

BUT: What a terrible chavvy paintwork/wrap. And: I will never like this guy and his exaggerated style of presentation.

Very similar to a Quattroporte - just not quite as beautiful

I've been up close to, and sat in, a Taraf and it is, in my opinion, one of the few luxury saloons I would love to own. I found it quite stunning.

shame the more recent gen (post 2013?) Quattroporte wasn't nearly as attractive as the earlier ones. Can pick them up in the US for around 25K or so.

Gritted my teeth and watched the whole thing (for the car, obviously, not the buffoon).

Doug is as off base on details as always. "Single clutch" transmission? Um...OK.

Oh and I know, eye of the beholder and all that, but saying the Quattroporte is better looking? Sorry, you are just wrong.

The Taraf and the car that it drew some of its inspiration from. Quite amazing that you can take something as 'distinctive' as William Town's wedge and manage to incorporate a visual lineage into a car that is truly a 21stC design.

Does Reichman get the credit for the Taraf? Or was it someone else in the design studio? Either way, it's a pity they reserved their magic dust for such a limited edition - why couldn't they have sprinkled more of it on the latest Aston models?

I don't really understand why this wasn't more wildly marketed and built. Even at double or triple the rapid price point I bet they could have sold 1000 or so.

I’ve never understood these... I know they’re trying to pull some lineage through, but I can’t get on with some of the angles (esp the C pillar).

Would take a Rapide over this, or if going larger, a Mulsanne.

Until that video, I had no idea these were even made.

You have to ask why they were 800k more than a Rapide though when a lot of the internal buttons and fixings are the same.

Am I missing something or is it just the rarity?

I saw a Taraf at the 2016 Festival of Aston Martins at Burghley House, & and it had quite a presence, certainly a very handsome vehicle. Well done AML for selling 100 or so (I think) at what was a pretty hefty price!
I`ll watch the Doug DeMuro clip another time, I need to be in a certain mood for Doug.

I was very fortunate to have a passenger ride in the AML demo Taraf at Castle Combe, a few moons ago: driven by a very experienced AML person, absolutely astounding car, far more impressed than I expected to be, & more different from the Rapide than I'd expected. I'd certainly have one, if the opportunity ever arose smile

I saw this video last week and, Doug DeMuro's presenting style aside, I just don't get this car.

It is nice and I do like it, but the price is/was crazy!

Shame there was a never a One-77 successor. More thinking a grand GT car rather than a F12TDF sort of thing, similar to the Chiron being more GT than something like a la ferrari
